Prayer is an important part of the life of the church and is an important part of all of services. Here at St Magaret's we also have a Parish Prayer that is used regularly as we bring ourselves, our church and our community before God.

A Prayer for the Parish
Heavenly Father, bless this Parish,
all who live and work here,
and all who travel through it;
grant to all who own the name of
your Son, Jesus Christ, the strength
to witness to your saving love,
that your kingdom may come among us,
your will be done in us,
and your name be glorified.
In the power of your Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ we pray.
